UPAMM Update: April 12, 2021

After another week of small group negotiations, UPAMM and the University are nearing tentative agreements on several proposals including committees and governance, temporary employees, personnel records, attendance policy, mandatory felony disclosures, provider impairment, flu vaccination and other mandatory immunizations, bulletin boards, attendance policy, drug testing, lists and information, and seniority.

Productive conversations continued this week on other important proposals that seek to promote the ability of PAs to practice at the top of their license, including collaborative practice, and workload.  Additionally, the University’s team heard from UPAMM on its objectives relative to its proposal on leaves. These proposals will continue to be discussed, in addition to proposals on salary and benefits, in the coming weeks as the groups look to stay on track with reaching a tentative agreement by early May.
